Hitch House Shipping Policy
Orders & Dispatch
We aim to dispatch all in-stock orders within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Custom or made-to-order items may take a little longer — you’ll find estimated production and dispatch timeframes listed on each product page.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number so you can follow your parcel’s journey.
Delivery Timeframes
Australia:

Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days (depending on your location)

Express Shipping: Available at checkout for faster delivery
New Zealand:

Standard Shipping: 7–14 business days (depending on your location and customs processing times)
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, public holidays, or regional factors.
International Orders
We currently ship to Australia and New Zealand only.
If you’re outside these regions and have your eye on something special, send us a message — we’ll see what we can do!
Tracking Your Order
You’ll receive tracking details as soon as your order is dispatched. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update once your parcel is in transit.
If you haven’t received your tracking email, double-check your spam or promotions folder before reaching out to us at support@hitchhouse.com.au.
🛡️ Shipping Insurance – Terms & Conditions
Coverage
Shipping insurance is optional and protects your order against loss or damage only if purchased at checkout. Orders placed without insurance are not eligible for compensation for loss or damage once dispatched.
Tiered Coverage

If the insurance purchased doesn’t match the correct tier, coverage will be capped at the maximum amount for the tier purchased.
Claim Process
To make a claim, please contact support@hitchhouse.com.au within 7 days of delivery (or the expected delivery date for lost parcels).
Include the following details:

Supporting evidence (photos, tracking information, etc.)
We’ll review your claim and respond within 2 business days.
Limitations

Coverage applies only to items purchased directly from Hitch House.

Shipping insurance does not cover:

Courier or postal delays

Issues caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer

Parcels delivered to the address supplied but subsequently lost or stolen

Refunds or replacements are provided up to the insured amount and issued as a replacement product or store credit, at our discretion.
